COVID and a gutted empty building couldn’t stop Jacksons Lane from creating circus! This was a wonderful film to work on during the peak of lockdown.
Each performer individually went to the building site that was Jacksons Lane to create a fun and playful act which utilised the space around them. I created a custom score for the piece, working closely with the director and editor to build the music round the first edit, which informed the next edit and so on to create a cohesive piece.
Jacksons Lane was the last theatre I worked at before lock down and then the first after, so having this piece in the middle was an emotional experience.
